Training for court staff who will work in the new information centers

On 28 October 2009, the court building in Vratsa will hosted a training for the court staff who will work in the new information centers of Veliko Tarnovo Administrative Court, Lovech District Court and Radomir Regional Court. The training was also attended by staff of the Yambol Administrative Court. The experienced staff of the Vratsa District, Regional and Administrative Courts shared their skills and knowledge with their colleagues. The training is organized under the USAID and German Marshall Fund funded project implemented by the Program for the Development of the Judicial System.

Closing Conference on the Project "The system of complaints and signals against judicial misconduct in the courts – review of the current situation and analysis of best practices in Europe"

The closing conference on the project "The system of complaints and signals against judicial misconduct in the courts – review of the current situation and analysis of best practices in Europe" funded by the MATRA/KAP Programme of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands was held on 20 October 2009 in the Conference Room of the Supreme Judicial Council.

Opening of Information Center of Lovech District Court

The Information Center of the Lovech District Court was opened on 12 October 2009. It has been built with funding from the Program for the Development of the Judicial System implementing a judicial reform project with the support of the United States Agency for International Development and the German Marshall Fund.

The Information Center of the Radomir Regional Court was opened on 7 October 2009. It has been built with funding from the Program for the Development of the Judicial System implementing a judicial reform project with the support of the United States Agency for International Development and the German Marshall Fund.

Opening of Information Center of Veliko Tarnovo Administrative Court

The Information Center of the Veliko Tarnovo Administrative Court was officially opened on 16 September 2009 at 11:00 a.m. The Center has been created with the assistance of the Program for the Development of the Judicial System with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development and the German Marshall Fund.

Meeting of the chairpersons of Model Courts and Courts in Partnership

A meeting of the chairpersons of Model Courts and Courts in Partnership was held on 16 January 2009 in Sofia. These are the courts which were part of the eponymous program of the United Stated Agency for International Development which was implemented by the Judicial Strengthening Initiative in the period 2000 – 2007.

The meeting was organized under a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development and the German Marshall Fund.
