The seminar on Case Management Techniques organised under the Enhancement of Court Business Practices Project was held on 18 - 19 June 2010 in Hisaria.
It was attended by 23 judges from Model Courts and Courts in Partnership. US judge Stewart Waldrip shared his experience on the topic. In the course of 6 months, he assisted the Sofia Regional Court and the Sofia City Court to reorganise their work in order to speed up the review of casesm including through mediation as a method of out-of-court dispute resolution. Judges from the Sofia Regional Court and Sofia City Court Vladimir Valkov, Tsveta Zhelyazkova, Vladimira Yaneva and Ivan Stoychev talked about their work to implement new case management techniques and set a firm foundation of the discussions, plans charted and decisions taken by participants in the seminar.
