The new Model Courts were announced on 4 December 2009 at the regular meeting of the chairpersons of Model Courts and Courts in Partnership. These are:
- Yambol Administrative Court and
- Vratsa Regional Court.
They achieved at least 75% implementation of the core standards of the Court Improvement Plan and thus joined their colleagues from 32 courts which already have the status of Model Courts.
All Model Courts and Courts in Partnership continue their efforts to improve their work in order to meet hte requirements of the European Union and the citizens. They will focus on the second Court Improvement Plan.
